Water Pump - STC3758
A water pump is a mechanical device that circulates engine coolant (or antifreeze) through the engine's cooling system to regulate its temperature. It is typically driven by a belt that is connected to the engine's crankshaft or camshaft, and is usually located at the front of the engine block.
The water pump has an impeller that spins rapidly to create a flow of coolant through the engine. As the coolant circulates, it absorbs heat from the engine and carries it to the radiator, where it is cooled before returning to the engine. The water pump also helps to maintain a consistent operating temperature by controlling the flow of coolant according to the engine's needs
